To get testers, you first become one. You stay with apps day by day, and every validated day earns loops; every loop moves your app closer to production. The work you need, done between developers.

The loop

Four steps, then it starts over

Nobody pays, nobody begs. The work one developer needs is exactly the work another can do.

01

Install a real app

Pick from the marketplace, join the closed test and install from Play with your account.

02

Send evidence every day

The app stays installed and each day you upload evidence of use. TestLoop verifies evidence, not promises.

03

Earn loops and reputation

+3 LP per validated day. Streak and tier grow with every test done right.

04

Publish your app

At 50 LP you enter the marketplace and other developers close your 12 testers for 14 days.

Two sides, one account

You're a developer and a tester at once

No two apps, no two sign-ups. You switch roles inside the same screen, depending on what you need today.

As a developer

Take your app to production

Publish your closed-test link and track progress toward Google Play's requirements from a single panel.

  • Live count of active testers and elapsed days
  • Evidence queue to approve or reject each tester's day
  • Production checklist and bug reports with screenshots
  • Testers with verifiable reputation, not throwaway accounts
As a tester

Fund your launch by testing

Every app you test well is loops for your own. Plus you get to see what the rest of the indie community is building.

  • +3 LP per validated day
  • Daily reminders so you never lose the day's loops
  • Daily streak and Bronze · Silver · Gold tiers
  • Marketplace priority when your reputation is high
Why it works

A fake tester is worth nothing to you

Google measures real installs sustained over time. TestLoop is built around that verification, not around volume.

Evidence, not trust

Every loop is released against a proven install, approved by the app's own developer.

A day installed is not an install

Install-and-uninstall doesn't count. Loops land day by day, for as long as the app stays on the device — which is exactly what Google measures.

Reputation you earn

Tiers aren't for sale. They're built by testing well, and they decide which apps you reach first.

FAQ

What every developer asks first

Does this comply with Google Play policies?

TestLoop doesn't buy or simulate installs: it connects real developers who install the app on their own devices and use it. There's no pay-per-install and no manipulation of public listing metrics, because closed tests aren't public.

How long does it take to reach 50 LP?

17 validated days. Staying with one app for its 14 days earns 42 LP of the 50 publishing costs, and nothing stops you from staying with several apps at once, each adding its 3 LP a day.

What if a tester drops out before the 14 days?

They stop earning the days they had left and their reputation drops, while your app returns to the marketplace with an open slot for another tester. We always aim above the 12 minimum to absorb dropouts.

Do I need to give access to my Play Console?

No. You only share your closed test's invite link and the emails of testers you accept. Your Play Console stays yours.

Do I get feedback or just installs?

Both. Testers are developers, so they report bugs with screenshots, device model and Android version — they read a stack trace and know what it takes to reproduce one.

Will it be paid?

The loop economy is free and stays free. If a paid plan appears later it'll be to speed things up, never to skip verification.

Android only?

For now yes: the 12-testers-in-14-days problem is a Google Play one. TestFlight is on the list, but later.
